Persimmon

Persimmon ... This wood includes any of the several trees of the Diospyros, in the ebony family, characterized by a very hard wood. Jerry Billy has a limited supply of this wood. The wood was cut and carried from the Dupree Lake Bottoms by helicopter, transported to Brinkley, AR where it was kiln-dried and most of it shipped to Japan where they made golf club heads. Of course, Jerry Billy was able to secure enough to make some great Snazz duck calls. These calls have a beautiful stained finish and are unique to the collector world. Have you ever seen one?
